CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEETING NOTICE  

Hello All,

Please mark on your calendar for this upcoming event.  If you are a currently serving as a Clermont county precinct representative, as a member of the central committee or the executive committee this meeting is of particular importance.  Also, for volunteers and activists, interested in growing the Democratic Party in Clermont County, this meeting is an opportunity for greater participation in the building process.

On May 4, 2010, Ohio voters will choose individual party candidates to compete in the 2010 general election.  Critical races include Ohio's Governor, Ohio's Secretary of State, Ohio Supreme Court Justices and our state legislators.  Representatives in the U.S. Senate and House will also be determined.  This year, your participation in the process is as important as ever.  We need your continuing activism to insure our elected leaders make sound decisions about the priorities and direction of government. 

On Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10:00AM at Party Headquarters, (10 North 2nd Street, Batavia, OH) we will be conducting a central committee organizing meeting.  The agenda will include filing requirements for election to the central committee, upcoming party building events, volunteer needs and social activities.  Representatives from individual campaigns will also be in attendance.

IF YOU INTEND TO RUN AS A PRECINCT REPRESTATIVE TO CENTRAL COMMITTEE, YOUR APPLICATION TO THE BOARD OF ELECTIONS MUST BE SUBBMITED BY 4:00 PM ON FEBRUARY 18, 2010. We will have the required application at the meeting.  Please attend or contact me if you can't make the date.
