Tell
national pharmacy chains to adopt a written,
public, corporate policy requiring all of
their stores to stock Plan
BŪ.
After three years of delay,
the FDA recently approved the emergency
contraceptive Plan BŪ for over-the-counter
sales for women age 18 and older. Plan BŪ will
arrive on drugstore shelves across the country
this week. We must ensure that all stores stock
it.
Take action and tell national
pharmacy chains to adopt a written public
policy about stocking Plan BŪ in all their
pharmacies. It's one of the best ways we can
maximize this safe and effective form of birth
control's full potential to prevent unintended
pregnancy.
