Volunteers Needed to Change Clermont

Website Coordinator – This individual will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of local candidates’ websites and will assist the Party’s Web Master in maintaining online resources.  Individual should have experience in website design, general maintenance and writing capabilities. 

Campaign Managers – One position currently available. Individual will coordinate between campaign and the County Campaign Director and other entities relevant to the 2008 General Election in Clermont County.  The campaign manager will assist his/her candidate with strategies, logistics and general consultation on political campaign matters.

Campaign Coordinators – These positions require volunteers who wish to assist candidates and campaign managers with a wide array activities related to the individual campaigns and projects required to bring campaign victories in the General Election.

Volunteers Coordinator – One position available.  Individual will make contact with potential volunteers, catalog volunteers and assist campaign managers in coordinating volunteers and resources when needed.

Volunteer Writers – Can you write a letter?  Writers are needed who will write letters to the editor of local newspapers either over their own signatures or ghost written.  Creative flair may qualify you to contribute to party websites and printed materials.

Blogs Watcher – Individual(s) will be responsible for monitoring political blogs for references to Democratic candidates.  Person should be able to write positive comments on behalf of democrats and make reports to the County Campaign Director on blogging activities.

Phoners – Work from home or Party Headquarters in Batavia.  Place calls to local voters on behalf of candidates, encouraging residents to vote or possibly attend a campaign/Party activity.

Door-to-Door Ambassadors – Prior to Election Day, individuals are needed in large numbers to distribute campaign materials to households throughout the county.  Face-to-face contact with residents is not required but not discouraged.

Poll Ambassadors – On Election Day, it is essential to have ambassadors in-place outside polling places to distribute printed materials on behalf of local and national candidates.  Volunteers needed to work shifts at his/her convenience.
