(CLERMONT COUNTY, OHIO)

Ohio State Law Strictly prohibits the placing of

 

political yard signs in the public “right of way” and

 

the placing of such signs on private property

 

without the permission of the property owner.

 

 

Township, Village, and City rules are as follows:

 

   note:  if a township, village or city is not included on this list,  there are NO RESTRICTIONS set forth by that area.  This also means those responsible for placing signs are to adhere completely and solely to Ohio State law, referred to above.

 

Batavia Township

   placed no more than 30 days prior to election

   removed no later than 7 days after election

 

Batavia Village

   placed no more than 30 days prior to election

   removed no later than 7 days after election

   not fixed to any natural objects or telephone poles, street signs, etc.

   no more than 8 square feet

 

Bethel Village

   removed 3 weeks after the election

   cannot be attached to village polls unless you use tape/string

   cannot be placed on Village property

 

Deerfield Township

   placed no more than 45 days prior to election

   removed no later than 7 days after election

   no more than 32 square feet

 

Loveland

   placed no more than 45 days prior to election

   removed no later than 4 days after election

 

Milford City

   only on private property

 

New Richmond Village

   placed no more than 45 days prior to election

   removed no later than 7 days after election

 

Moscow Village

   placed no more than 45 days prior to election

   removed no later than 7 days after election

 

Owensville Village

   placed no more than 45 days prior to election

   removed no later than 4 days after election

 

Pierce Township

   placed no more than 45 days prior to election

   removed no later than 3 days after election

 

Symmes Township

   placed no more than 60 days prior to election

   removed no later than 7 days after election

 

Newtonsville Village

   placed no more than 60 days prior to election

   removed no later than 3 days after election

 

Williamsburg Village

   placed no more than 60 days prior to election

   removed no later than 4 days after election
