We ran candidatesin all of our local races. This is a first in avery long time. All of our candidatesimproved on previous years' result. SherrodBrown won re-election. Our endorsedcandidate for the Ohio Supreme Court,Michael P. Donnelly, carried ClermontCounty. The US House has flipped blue.This is a result of all the hard work ourcandidates, canvassers, phone bankers,postcard writers, poll greeters, fundraisers.Established Dems and new friends alikegave their time, energy, money, and moreto build our network.This was not a bad election. This wasthe start of a new Clermont County. Ourneighbors took notice. We have themomentum. It may not be easy. It maynot be quick. Due to conflict with the Clermont County Fair, the Executive and Central Committees will not meet in July. The August meeting has been moved and will take place on August 9, 2018, at 6 PM and 7 PM respectively. The location will still be at the party headquarters, located at 174 E. Main St., Batavia, OH 45103.
